Widows Sons History

 

Presentation of Kansas Charter - August 2006The Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association was founded in 1999 with intention to offer aid and assistance to Masonic Widows and Orphans. Still holding strong to that commitment the Widows Sons offers regular charitable donations to Masonic and other charities to help benefit many people throughout the world. Since its founding the Widows Sons has grown worldwide spanning from the United States, Canada, UK, Japan, Scotland, and Mexico just to name a few. 

The Kansas Grand Chapter was chartered in Salina Ks in August 2006 with affiliate chapters chartered and serving their communities and Lodges, since. Subsequent Chapters were formed in Wichita, Ks in 2007, Winfield, Ks in 2008, Kansas City, Ks in 2008, Enterprise, Ks in 2009 and Lyndon, KS 2010. The Salina Grand Chapter was dissolved in 2008 and replaced by the Kansas E-Board which is comprised of representatives of the state’s chapters.

The Widows Sons currenly has 5 chapters in Kansas. 

 

47th Problem Chapter -Enterprise, KS

The 47th Problem Chapter of Enterprise, Ks is a constituent Kansas chapter of the Widows Sons International Masonic Motorcycle Riders Association. We are comprised of Freemasons, their friends, and family members. Our purpose is to provide a social and fraternal outlet for Freemasons who ride, and desire to socialize and travel the open roads with their brethren. 

Our meetings are in Enterprise, KS which is located between Salina, Ks and Junction City, Ks. We meet on the Third Sunday of each month at 1pm and we attempt to ride as a group (weather permitting) following our meeting. If you are a Master Mason in good standing and a Motorcycle enthusiast feel free to contact us.

 

Articifers Chapter - Pittsburg, Ks

The Articifers Travelers chapter of Pittsburg, Ks is a constituent Kansas chapter of the Widows Sons International Masonic Motorcycle Riders Association. We are comprised of Freemasons, their friends, and family members. Our purpose is to provide a social and fraternal outlet for Freemasons who ride, and desire to socialize and travel the open roads with their brethren. 

Our meetings are held on the in the Pittsburg area. We traditionally will congregate for lunch, and we attempt to ride as a group (weather permitting) following our meeting. If you are a Master Mason in good standing and a Motorcycle enthusiast feel free to contact us.

 

Branded Brothers Chapter - Burlington, Ks

The Branded Brothers chapter of Burlington, Ks is a constituent Kansas chapter of the Widows Sons International Masonic Motorcycle Riders Association. We are comprised of Freemasons, their friends, and family members. Our purpose is to provide a social and fraternal outlet for Freemasons who ride, and desire to socialize and travel the open roads with their brethren. 

Our meetings are held on the Second Sunday of the month in the Burlington area. We traditionally will congregate at 5pm at different locations, and we attempt to ride as a group (weather permitting) following our meeting. Poor Brothers of the Road - Lyndon, Ks

The Poor Brothers of the Road of Lyndon, Ks is a constituent Kansas chapter of the Widows Sons International Masonic Motorcycle Riders Association. We are comprised of Freemasons, their friends, and family members. Our purpose is to provide a social and fraternal outlet for Freemasons who ride, and desire to socialize and travel the open roads with their brethren. 

Our meetings are generally held on the first Thursday of the month. We traditionally will congregate at one of our members’ homes. And we attempt to ride as a group (weather permitting) following our meeting. If you are an A.F.&A.M. in good standing and a Motorcycle enthusiast feel free to contact us.

 

Prairie Travelers - Kansas City, Ks

The Prairie Travelers Chapter of Kansas City, Ks is a constituent Kansas chapter of the Widows Sons International Masonic Motorcycle Riders Association. We are comprised of Master Masons, their friends, and family members. Our purpose is to provide a social and fraternal outlet for Masons who ride, and desire to socialize and travel the open roads with their brethren. 

Our meetings are generally held on the Third Sunday of each month at 12pm. We congregate for at Rosedale Lodge #333 (6161 Slater St. Shawnee Mission, Ks 66202) for our business meeting and ride as a group (weather permitting) following our meeting for lunch. If you are a Master Mason in good standing and a Motorcycle enthusiast feel free to contact us.
